Raster vs. Vector
Simply put, vector art consists of lines and curves that are mathematically defined objects. For example, logos are usually vector images. In contrast, raster images consist of colored squares, known as pixels. Digital photographs are constructed using these colored pixels.
When it comes to resizing sticker and decal designs, vector images are the best options because they won’t lose any print quality. Raster images, however, will lose quality when resized.
For printing decals and stickers, we reccommend using vector artwork. If you need your file changed, we offer artwork vectorization services. Please contact us to get started!
